Pulse Multiplier

Generation of a signal of 360 pulses/revolution in real-time utilizing a signal plate and crank position sensor mounted in an actual vehicle

A pulse multiplier which generates a 360 pulses/revolution crank angle signal as required in combustion analysis, for example, in real-time, using the crank position sensor in an actual vehicle rather than mounting a rotary encoder.

●Real-time multiplier output while predicting the subsequent input signal
●Up to 20,000 rpm supported
●Arbitrary angle offset for the TDC signal output timing
●High-speed F/V output

Crankshaft Position Pulse Multiplier

CPM-100

A crank position pulse multiplier is something which converts the signal from a crank position sensor to the equivalent output of a 360p/r encoder. Experimental measurements in engine combustion testing. For example, take measurements by mounting an optical encoder on the crankshaft. But instead of a newly mounted optical encoder, by taking measurements using the signal from the crank position sensor on an actual vehicle, which is then input to an ECU, mounting an optical encoder is not necessary.
