The RDC 100 is an instrument that measures the angle of rotation axis by connecting to the amplitude modulation type resolver.
The RDC 100 outputs the excitation signal to the resolver, and outputsABZ phasesignals by using the sine and cosine signals returned from the resolver.
It also calculates the angle and velocity and outputs the analog voltage corresponding to these results.
A 16-bit resolver/digital conversion IC (RDC) is used to measure angles with high accuracy.
A buffer is provided in the excitation circuit of the resolver makes it possible to drive a resolver with an impedance of 100 – 200Ω.
